^Lot 1591 Tony Conigliaro

Outfielder (1945–1990) who was hit in the face by a pitch in 1967, causing a severe eye injury and derailing his career. Color 7.5 x 9 cardstock photo of Tony C in his Red Sox uniform, signed in black ballpoint. In very good condition, with horizontal crease to lower portion, some other scattered light creases, and an impression of another signature over Conigliaro’s, apparently from signing another photo on top.
